This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Beautifully designed space and fresh healthy ingredients! As a vegan I appreciate the yummy, healthy (not fried) tofu and all the veggie options! Easy pickup near my gym so will be back for sure on days when I’m too time crunched to cook! Ordered for pick up, it was ready very fast, but stayed to eat at the lovely tables by the windows. You could also sit outside on the nice street tables.

Staff is kind. Brand is solid. But the smell is way off, is way powerful pungent, and super off putting. Drove me away before I could Place my order. If had to give the over powering unpleasant fragrance a name: i would call it WET DOG. YIkes! Seriously no bueno.

If you are wandering around Santa Monica looking for a lunch spot that feels both healthy and indulgent, Sweetfin is the move. It’s a bright, modern, fast-casual space that manages to feel a bit more elevated than your standard assembly-line poke shop. The ambiance is clean and airy, making it a great spot to reset during a busy afternoon. Let’s be real: the prices are a bit higher than what you might pay at other spots. However, the quality makes it well worth the extra few dollars. The seafood is remarkably fresh, the tuna and salmon are consistently tender, with that "melt-in-your-mouth" texture that proves they aren’t cutting corners on sourcing. What truly sets Sweetfin apart, though, is the creativity. Their toppings and sauces are unrivaled in the poke game. Whether you’re getting the Sriracha Tuna or something more experimental with their black rice, the flavor profiles are layered and punchy. They don't just dump soy sauce on fish; they craft actual profiles. The staff is always friendly and quick on their feet, even when the line starts snaking toward the door. If you want a fresh, high-quality bowl that actually leaves you feeling energized, this is easily one of the bes

All gluten free Poke & tons of options! Great place with no cross contamination issues. Grabbed some bowls to go enjoy on the beach although the atmosphere here was super cute too.

Sweetfin, Santa Monica We visited for the first time and, unfortunately, don’t plan to return. The bowl portions were quite small for the price, which felt above average. The staff member who took our order was not very friendly and didn’t smile, which gave the impression that she was tired and doing us a favor rather than welcoming guests. For first-time visitors, a bit more patience and help with choosing would be appreciated. Service was fast, and the interior is beautiful. However, there was a strong smell inside, so we chose to sit on the terrace instead. The outdoor tables could be cleaned more often. Additionally, the tray on which our order was brought looked old and worn, and it was unpleasant to handle. Overall, the experience was not very positive.
